Finally, I have some photos of my craft room to show you. The extension we've had built was supposed to be 2/3rds a sitting area and 1/3rd craft room but it's now 2/3rds craft room, lol!  I've not put everything away yet as I'm still deciding where my stash should go.  WARNING PHOTO HEAVY!

This is a dresser I had made to my design which I'm so happy with. It's really tall and wide so I couldn't get it all in the photo.

My jars with my ribbons and bits and bobs.

We decided a table with drawer units on lockable castors was more practical as I can give myself more workspace by pulling the units out.

This was my mum's dresser base which I helped her to choose and had always loved. The fretwork pulls down to reveal a shelf where I keep my 12"x 12" cards pad and cutting plates for the eBosser on top. My dies are in the right hand box and paper pads in the left hand one.

The last pictures show what's in the dressers. I put self adhesive Velcro on the ribbon hangers and attached inside the door and the other photo shows the fabric baskets holding my flowers etc.

I hope I've not bored you with all my photos. It's so much nicer working on a big table with everything in the same room and my living room looks a lot tidier without my crafty stuff here, there and everywhere too, lol.

Don't forget there's still time to enter my candy giveaway if you haven't done so already. That's all from me today. Take care and enjoy your crafting.

Blooming Shoe

Hi there. I hope this post finds you all well and happy.

I've been enjoying using the Blooming stamps from Anne Marie Designs and they sell well at the farm shop which I'm grateful for. I spent all my earnings at Doncaster Racecourse's Summer Crafting show so I need to make a lot more cards now to save up for the next craft show!

Today's card is using the Blooming Shoe stamps. It was a commission from my late mum's next door neighbour for his wife.  I hope you like it.

Well my room is nearly finished. Just the window sills to repaint as they keep getting sticky in the sun ( yes we have had some sun) so needs a different kind of paint on them. I'm just putting all my craft stuff away where hopefully I'll be able to find it again. I've already put some stamps I wanted to use somewhere so safe I can't find them, lol. I hope I'll have pictures to show you on my next post. Don't forget to enter my Candy Giveaway.

That's it for now. Thanks for visiting.

Nearly there?

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for the lovely comments, I really love reading them and appreciate you taking the time to leave them for me.

My craft room is nearly finished. I'm just waiting for some more furniture which will hopefully be delivered next week, fingers crossed.

Today's card is using another pre- coloured topper from Hobby House. I got a few comments telling me how good my colouring was on the Belated Mother's Day card post but I can't take the credit for that one unfortunately, wish I could though. I'm doing well selling my cards at the farm shop much to my surprise and I'm saving the money for the next craft show I go to so I can go even more mad buying lots of crafty goodies!!

Right I'd better show your my card. I enjoyed making this card so I hope you like it.

Blooming Bicycle

A big hello to all my blog friends. I hope you are all well and happy. As some of you may know there was a Tour de Yorkshire cycle race at the beginning of May. It came through my town, which was decorated with blue and yellow bicycles and banners and looked really great. I can't help feeling though that a lot of small children are having to wait for their parents to take their bikes down off the walls so they can play on them again, ha, ha! So inspired by all these bicycles I decided to make a card with a bicycle on it. Being very girly, it just had to have flowers and glitter on it ,of course, lol! So here it is. I hope you like it.

Close up of the flowers....

There's been a bit of a hold up with the finishing of the extension which I'll bore you with another time, lol.

Lots of hugs to those of you that need one or just want one,

Very Belated Mother's Day card

Hi everyone. Thank you for your lovely comments on my card. I really appreciate you taking the time to leave them for me. It makes me a happy bunny :D. I will definitely show you my craft room when it's finished. I've got something being made which will take a while so it will probably be a couple of months before it's completely ready for its grand unveiling.

Onto today's card. A local tearoom/ farm shop has offered to sell my cards whenever I can make them which is just wonderful of them as it doesn't put me under any pressure if I'm not feeling up to card-making. This is a Mother's Day card I made for the shop but have only just managed to show you:-

Well that's all from me today except a little apology if I haven't commented on some of your posts. I'm so behind on things at the moment at home so my blogging is taking a back seat. I've also got to sort through my craft stuff and my mums to see what I want to keep and what must go which I'm not looking forward to as I'll want to keep everything!!

Sending you all a big hug,

A new craft room!

Hi everyone. I'm so excited as I'm getting a craft room, YAY!!! I've been using a lap tray and a small folding TV table to do my crafting on for so long but not for much longer. We've been having an extension built on the back of our house since the end of January and it's getting to the end now. A third of the space is just for me so I'm having fun in between the hospital appointments shopping for furniture.

I have made a few cards but just haven't had time to post them anyway here's one of them using Graphic 45 Parfumerie stamp and die cut set.

A couple of close up photos....

I've got my fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave in our living room at the moment while the tiler is tiling the extension and kitchen. It was bearable on the first day but the that feeling is quickly wearing off now! My sons, Chris and Kieran, and Lexi, Chris' girlfriend, are here for some of the bank holiday so it'll be a bit of a squeeze in the living room but it'll be so great to have them all here.

I hope you all in the UK have a great bank holiday and the rest of you wonderful blog friends all over the world have a great weekend too.

Sending you all a big hug, Debra x

My Candy Winner is.......!

Hi there everyone. I hope you're all having crafty fun.

Well I think I've left it long enough for my faithful blog friends to enter my candy giveaway. I'm a bit busy with hospital appointments and with builders ( I'll tell you about that next time) so haven't time to post a card and I've gone old school with putting your names in a hat (well, a paper bag :D) for the draw. The name pulled out by the independent witness, my hubby, was...........

 ..............Carole Pollard!!!...........

Congratulations Carole, email me and I'll send you your candy which I hope will enjoy using.
I wish you could all win as you've all been the best blog buddies ever.

That's all for now so take care and as usual I'm sending you all a big hug.
