Flower Fairy and Anything Goes at Crafting by Designs

Hi everyone. A bit of a short and sweet post today as I've not been feeling too great lately.
A new Anything Goes Challenge has started at Crafting by Designs. There are two sponsors for this challenge All Dressed Up Stamps and Dr. Digi. They have some fantastic prizes for the lucky winners but more on that later on.

My card today was made using the beautiful Flower Fairy from All Dressed Up and was a real delight to colour.

and finally the inside of the card.....

The prizes on offer for this challenge from our fabulously generous sponsors are...

Prize - Winner's choice of 2 digi images.

I wish I could enter myself with those prizes :D!

Medium- Copic pens 'Ciao and Sketch '.
Embellishments- WOC 'White Pearl Drop Trim'. Flower Lace from a craft show. Feather from stash. Crystal Beaded Stems from stash (really old!).
Ribbon- Live and Love Crafts 'Crinkled White Seam Binding'.
Flowers- WOC 'Miniature Sweetheart Blossom' & 'Gypsophila'.
Other Stuff- Wink of Stella in 'Clear' and DecoArt Glamour Dust in 'Crystal'.

I'm the queen of not getting rid of things (I got this from my lovely mum) in case I need them which is what happened with the Crystal Beaded Stems I used on the card. I must have had these for at least 15 years!! My hubby sometimes says why not have a clear out but it very rarely happens. I did have one once and then found the same week that I needed something I'd got rid of (I think this must have scarred me for life :D!). So my new craft room is fit to burst already. I really need to make more cards but until my MS settles (fingers crossed that it does) I'm only making the cards I need to for the DT. I hope I'll be able to make more for the shop I supply as they are selling really well especially my more expensive boxed cards, I need the cash for the next craft show I go to :).

Right I'm off to have a rest now. Don't forget to check out the new challenge at Crafting by Designs. You've plenty of time to enter as it runs until 25th September.

Happy Crafting!

  6. Hi Debra, a stunning card, love so much about it, the soft delicate colours, the stunning embellishments and that 15y.o. spray of crystal beads is great (I've always wondered what these can be used for apart from wedding sprays, hat pins etc) mixed with the feathers. Many thanks for the inspiration... hope you are feeling well enough to craft more often soon and thanks for the well wishes... have a wonderful week... Megan
