Mr Snowman Shaker Card

Hi everyone. I hope you're all well and happy today. This is my last card for Crafting by Designs, sob, sob. In case you didn't see my last post I'm sadly stepping down from the design team as I'm really struggling with my health at the moment. Happily Doris, the coordinator of the blog, has left the door open for me to return if my health improves which is so lovely of her.

Right on to the new Get Ready For Christmas challenge at Crafting by Designs. My card uses the wonderful Mr Snowman from the A Day For Daisies store. There are loads of gorgeous stamps and some free ones at the moment there too. Here is my DT card.

A close up of the snowman ....

Gilding wax on the poinsettias .....

And finally all shook up (feel free to start singing here 😊)......

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who gave me advice on how to make a successful shaker card. After a few mistakes and one near disaster, when I dropped a full pot of the sequin mix on the floor which my fantastic hubby, on his knees with damp kitchen towels, picked up as much as was humanly possible and stopped me from crying, I finished the card and the bits didn't drop out the bottom, Yay!

I'll still be making and posting cards as often as I'm able so don't think I'm going anywhere but I've really appreciated the supportive comments you've left for me.

Just for me to remind you about the challenge and another chance to add more Christmas cards to your pile if you've already been playing along or the chance to start them at Crafting by Designs.

See you all again when I've more cards to share with you.

Debra x
