Ruby Wedding

Hi there. A big hello to my new follower Vicky and welcome to my little blog family, I hope you enjoy visiting.

I need to apologize for not commenting on some of your posts only I've had a rotten headache which has been affecting my vision so computing was a bit of a no no. I blame the very restrictive diet I'm on to prepare for an operation next Wednesday so I'll be awol for a few days next week too.

My card today was a quick one made purely with dies as I wasn't up to much else and needed it for my neighbours that day. Hope you like it.

The colours didn't come out as well as I would've liked in the photo.

This photo shows the little hearts sparkling.

We had a lovely weekend away in Sheffield. The hotel was fab, the weather was really good, we went to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster with Chris and Lexi, had a shop in Meadow Hall and finally on the way home went to Icon UK, which sells lots of dies for really good prices. Good job we went as I bought the happy anniversary dies there which was lucky. So thanks to everyone who wished me a good weekend, the wishes came true!

I'm wishing you all have a great weekend and inspired card making. Thank you visiting me,
                                                   Debra x

  1. Hi Debra, glad to see your feeling a bit better. Your card is really elegant, the script dies are beautiful and the heart gems finish the card off beautifully. I will be thinking about you next week. Take care Sally D x.

  3. Hi Debra
Sorry not commented earlier been away on a weeks holiday in the Peak District and just got back last night. This card is gorgeous love the all die card its so beautiful I am sure your neighbours will have appreciated receiving such a fab card. I hope the diet is not too awful and that things go well on Wednesday I'll be thinking about you. So glad you had a great weekend it all sounded such fun I especially like the sound of Icon UK sounds like a plastic card sort of place !! Love and Happy Crafting Hugs Carole x

  4. Hello Debra. Sorry I have not been around for comments. I have been suffering with an ear nose & throat infection. I've had high temperature with a constant headache & burning sensation in my ears. I felt like I was under water as everything was very muffled & my throat has been so sore I could not eat or speak.(my family have enjoyed the peace I think). I saw the Dr last night who advised me to steam my head & pop my ears to relieve the pressure & this is helping along with a nasal spray.
Your anniversary card is lovely I hope your neighbours loved it.
I wish you well for your operation on Wednesday & hope its nothing too serious. Hope you are feeling better soon. Hugs Karen x

  5. Hi Debra, I've been really behind with blogging lately! Sorry to hear that you haven't been well and I hope everything goes okay with your operation and that you're feeling better soon. Your card is stunning, the die-cuts look so elegant! Glad you had a good weekend in Sheffield.

  6. Hi Debra. I send you get well wishes & hope all went well with your operation yesterday.
    Hugs Karen x
