A big hello to all my blog friends. I hope you are all well and happy. As some of you may know there was a Tour de Yorkshire cycle race at the beginning of May. It came through my town, which was decorated with blue and yellow bicycles and banners and looked really great. I can't help feeling though that a lot of small children are having to wait for their parents to take their bikes down off the walls so they can play on them again, ha, ha! So inspired by all these bicycles I decided to make a card with a bicycle on it. Being very girly, it just had to have flowers and glitter on it ,of course, lol! So here it is. I hope you like it.
Close up of the flowers....
I also made one in lilac.
and a close up of the flowers which are made with different stamps than the pink card.

Okay, that's it for today's post. Sorry for the long gap between posts again. I've still got doctors appointments and I'm still sorting through mine and my mum's craft stuff ready for my new storage. There's been a bit of a hold up with the finishing of the extension which I'll bore you with another time, lol.
Lots of hugs to those of you that need one or just want one,
Debra x

Lovely to see you and what gorgeous cards. I love the flowery wheels and gorgeous flowers. Such pretty makes
ReplyDeleteHi Debra, your cards are just wonderful!! Great design! Love so much both, but the pink one has totally captured me!! The bicycle is fabulous, and the flowers look really stunning, you have made them marvellous!! Also the leaves with the stitched paint look very well!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Debra. I love your flowery bicycle stamp and your flowers are beautiful. The stitching stamps add a lovely detail and I love the colourways of both the cards. The Tour de Yorkshire also came through the town that I live in, and even now there are still bicycles stuck in hedges and bunting hanging from trees, but it created such a great atmosphere. Hope you are ok. Sally.x.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowery bike cards! Just perfect in both colours! Your flowers are so fab too!
