Hi everyone and a warm welcome to my new follower Sarah :)
I'm back with a late Easter card today but also to remind you that there's still chance to join the Design Team at Crafting by Designs. If you'd love to join our wonderful team of crafters just use the link or read my previous post to find out what to do.

I actually made this card before the Exquisite Heart card I posted earlier this month and liked the design. As you can see it only took a few changes and additions to make this into the Exquisite Heart card.
As it was for the shop I supply I'm always conscious of postal charges so wanted this card to fit in an envelope rather than a box. I hope you like it.
Close up of the 'flower'...
and the butterfly. ..
Chocolate had to be mentioned somewhere, of course!
Card Ingredients ( different from Exquisite Heart card )
Die- Memory box Elliana (egg shape).
Stamp- LOTV chocolate stamp from Grunge elements set 66 and Sentiment from Simply Sophisticated set 26.
I'm writing this whilst my hubby is watching grown men rolling on the floor pretending to be hurt or what he calls football. I might do a bit of reading after I finish this post for tomorrow. One thing MS affects is the memory so I can read a book several times as I forget what happened in it which saves me buying more books. Who says having MS doesn't have a upside, more money for craft stash, Yay!
Have a great day,
Debra x
This is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis super-chic shabby card is fabulous and really love your organza lace flower, wow!! It's so sweet and elegant! The butterfly is adorable and the distressed papers look great with the gorgous design of the egg. Very well done!

Hi Debra, yes my cameo will cut everything but there is a skill to it. I also have a scan and cut but find that won't always cut like my cameo does.xx
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Debra & so elegant :o)

The cricut is totally different to the cameo Debra, you need to purchase cartridges to use with it. I have the cricut expressions and heaps of carts which I love but on the cameo I can design things as well. The scan and cut I also have but am not a real lover of it to be honest. I had to replace a blade just after having the machine for a month and hardly used it and the mat is no longer sticky. In the cameo I use it all the time, replace my mat around every six months and I can't remember when I last changed the blade and I have had the machine for four years.... goodluck with your adventure.xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card and I love to re-read books found some great free sites online which I can read whole series seeing I like to only buy my books used hugs Nikki

Very pretty card Debra, I love how you've created so many layers without it looking too busy.
