Sprinkled with Sugar and Crafting by Designs Challenge

Hi everyone. Summer has actually arrived in the UK with a heat wave inland. Here on the coast there's a bit of a breeze which is good as my MS hates warm weather.

Just a tell you that a new challenge is launched at Crafting by Designs today with the theme 'Get Ready For Christmas'. This is a chance to get your Christmas cards started early so that you're not frantically crafting just before the big day. More on this further down....

My card today is using one of my favourite stamps from Lili of the Valley. It's called 'Sprinkled with Sugar ' and is one of the mice stamps which are sadly retired now. I made this card for my son Chris' girlfriend Lexi. As she likes baking I thought this card would be just right for her (you should have seen the scrumptious Oreo cake she made for him).

Showing the little secret message...

and a close up of the glitter and glossy accents....
