Breena and Bear. Anything Goes Challenge at Crafting by Designs

Hi everyone. I hope you're all well and happy.
October seems to have arrived so soon. I always plan to have started my Christmas cards in September but that's not happened of course. Anyway on to today's post which sees the new Anything Goes challenge at Crafting by Designs. There are three sponsors for this challenge but more on that later.

My card today is using Breena and Bear from SheepSki Designs. I've made a Christmas card using this cute image but you could use this at anytime of year.

Close up shot of the image.....

and Wink of Stella on her wings......

I don't think I could have got more glitter on here if I tried :D! Even the Ric Rac ribbon is glittery.

The sponsors for this challenge are......
Prize - Choice of 3 digi images.

Prize - Choice of 3 digi images.

Prize - Choice of 3 digi images.

That's three, yes THREE, prizes to win from our sponsors.

Card Ingredients.

6" x 6" Card Blank- Craftwork Cards.
Stamp- SheepSki Designs 'Breena and Bear' digi stamp.
Sentiment- LOTV 'Happy Circular Sentiments set 8'.
Cardstock- Dovecraft Glitter card 'White' and 'Silver'.
Dies- Joy Crafts 'Christmas Cottage Set' (star). Cottage Cuts 'Birch Trees and Deer'.
Medium- Copic 'Ciao and Sketch' pens.
Embossing Powder- Chloe's Creative Stamps Wow 'Silver Bells'.
Ink- Versamark. Distress Ink 'Stormy Sky'.
Silver Ric Rac- From a craft show.
Wink of Stella in 'Clear'.

I just want to mention a tool I bought that really helped with this card and that is the Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife. I find it really difficult to use craft knives due to the lack of sensation in my hands but this I found really easy to use especially on Breena's hair. I would highly recommend it to others who struggle with ordinary knives like me. (Wish I was getting paid for this :D)

With three prizes on offer it's a great time to enter the Anything Goes challenge at Crafting by Designs and you can enter three projects too.

Right I'm off to tidy my craft room which looks a herd of wild animals have run through it leaving no space to craft. Note to self:- must not buy any more craft stuff (yeah right :D). See you again next week,

Debra x

  4. Oh, love all this sparkling!!! :D Adorable! Your scene looks fabulous with these colours and all the sparkle! Love the white wood!!! The image is very cute, beautifully coloured and just perfect with the wink of stella on the wings! You have cut it very well! Thank you very much for sharing your trick, I must have this fingertip knife! :) When I cut little parts of cardstock with my little decoupage scissoirs, I always make bad folds on it... :(
I have never seen the glittered ric rac, it's fabulous! Beautiful silver embossing on the sentiment and the dp of the background is just perfect for the scene!
My craft room is just as yours: a hole of wild animals... :D But I haven't time to clean up, in these days! Have a card to finish, too...It's on my table by all the week, and I have only to gluing all the pieces! Crazy times for me...
