Butterfly

Hi everyone. How are you all? I want to say thank you for all your welcome back comments, you all blow me away with your kindness!

I've got fabulous news. My eldest son Chris and his long term girlfriend have got engaged! YAY!! I'm so happy as they make such a wonderful couple and Lexi is just so lovely, she's the daughter I would have loved to have had myself. The fact that I've got her into card making is even better as I've someone to talk about crafty things with. At the moment they are on a five month holiday traveling around South East Asia and then to Australia and New Zealand then back to South Korea and Japan.

Right, on to my card. I bought lovely stamps, dies and papers from Polkadoodles and decided to use them for my card. Here it is.

Card Ingredients.

Card Blank- 6" x 6" Craftwork Cards.
Stamps- Polkadoodles 'Belle Papillion' (background script, main butterfly and small butterfly).
Medium- Prismacolor Pencils.
Sentiment- Crafters Companion 'Greetings- Birthday'.
Inks- Memento 'Tuxedo Black'. Distress Ink 'Milled Lavender'.
Papers- Polkadoodles 'Bella Fleur' & 'Bella Papillion'. LOTV 'Bonnets and Bowties solids' ( For flourishes).
Dies- Polkadoodles 'Elegant Nest' & 'Butterfly Doublet'. Cheery Lynn Designs 'Tiny Fanciful Flourish'.
Cardstock- Create and Craft 'White Linen Cardstock'.
Ribbon. Ribbon Girls 'White Seam Binding'.
Lace- Ribbonbox.
Flowers- Hobbycraft 'Floral Embellishments 60pk'.
Gemstones- MeiFlower.
Other Stuff- Pinflair Pearl Wand in 'Pearl'.

I thought you might like to see a photo of Lexi's ring that Chris had made for her.

It looks even more beautiful in real life and Lexi loves it. I haven't got a photo of them to show you yet.

Well that's all from me today. I hope you're all having a wonderful week so far. Hugs to you all.

Your colouring with pencils loks fabulous, such a lovely butterfly! The swirls with the cute daisies match so well with the frame, the lovely lace and the elegant bow! Love the detail of the distressed edges, too, they give a shabby lok to your card!
Hope you feel well, my dear friend! I'm still sick, but I'm going a bit well.
Big hugs and congrats to Chris and Lexi!
